Yesterday I wanted to create a normal map for a very low poly object and wanted to keep some edges hard. I've been occasionally using Zbrush for the last few years to create normal maps, but I have always had trouble with the interface, scene navigation, lack of certain useful tools and the resulting normal map quality.
